# 53 Constitution of new board, and transfer of functions of superseded local boards
(1) When a district board is superseded, Constitution the Local Government shall, as soon as in its judgment conveniently may be, constitute another district board in its place.
(2) When a local board is superseded, the Local Government may either constitute another local board in its place, or transfer its functions to the district board or, by a notification under section 10, to any other local board.
