# 28 Pensions of Government officials serving boards
In the case of a Government official, a district board may--
(1) if his services are wholly lent to it, contribute to his pension or gratuity and leave-allowances in accordance with the rules of the 1[Civil Service Regulations] for the time being in force ; and
(2) if he devotes only a part of his time to the performance of duties in behalf of the board, contribute to his pension or gratuity and leave-allowances in such proportion as may be determined by the Government.
