IDENTIFICATION OF MANUAL SCAVENGERS IN URBAN AND RURAL AREAS AND THEIR REHABILITATION


If any Panchayat has reason to
believe that some persons are engaged in manualscavenging within its jurisdiction, the Chief Executive
Officer of suchPanchayat shall causea survey of such manual scavengers to be undertaken, mutatis
mutandis, in accordance withthe provisions of section 11 and section 12, to identify such person.
