Extent

All sections

1[The State Government may, by
notification in the Official Gazette], exclude any class of books 2[or papers] from the operation of the
whole or any part or parts of this Act:

3[Provided that no such notification in respect of any class of newspapers shall be issued without
consulting the Central Government.]
