Power to seize infant milk substitutes, etc., or containers thereof

Confiscation not to interfere with other punishments

Power to make rules

All sections

(1) This Act may be called the Infant Milk Substitutes,
Feeding Bottles and Infant Foods (Regulation of Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 1992.

(2) It extends to the whole of India.

(3) It shall come into force on such date1
as the Central Government may, by notification in the
Official Gazette, appoint.
