# 8 Powers and duties of officers, terms of office and filling of casual vacancies
Subject to the provisions of this Act, the powers and duties of 1[the other officers of the University] the term for which they shall hold office, and the filling up of casual vacancies in such offices, shall be provided for by the Statutes.
